Hello, I'm Laura. I'm an experienced surface pattern designer who loves to handpaint flowers and create patterns suitable for interiors/ fashion. I draw inspiration from historical textiles and traditional botanical illustration while attempting to inject a contemporary edge.
I graduated in 2002 from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design with a First Class Honours degree in Printed Textiles, then went on to complete a Masters in Textiles at Winchester School of Art.
Since then I have gained almost a decade of industry experience working in CAD design studios for the British fashion market and felt that it was about time I tried something for myself, so if you like my work, please contact me for commissions/ freelance.
